EN: This axe is designed primarily for timber framers, for hewing round logs into beams and for a wide range of traditional woodworking tasks. Its shape and construction are based on historical broad axes found throughout Central Europe. The handle is fitted into a forged socket, which is forge-welded before the blade is welded into place. The entire construction follows traditional blacksmithing methods, where the individual components are shaped and joined through forging and forge welding. The blade is ground on both sides as standard, making the axe a versatile tool suitable for a wide variety of timber framing work. A single-bevel version can also be made on request, either for right-handed or left-handed use. One of the greatest advantages of this axe is its low weight relative to its cutting edge length. Depending on the customer's preference and intended use, the head typically weighs between 1.2 and 1.8 kg (2.6–4.0 lbs), while the cutting edge measures approximately 23 cm (9 in). This provides excellent handling while retaining enough mass for efficient cutting.
CZ: Tato sekera je určena především pro tesaře – k otesávání kulatiny na trámy a další ruční práci se dřevem. Její tvar a konstrukce vycházejí z historických seker dochovaných na území střední Evropy. Násada je osazena do kované tuleje, která je kovářsky svařena a následně je k ní přivařena čepel. Celá konstrukce vychází z tradičního způsobu kovářské výroby, při kterém jednotlivé části vznikají postupným kováním a svařováním. Čepel je standardně broušena z obou stran, díky čemuž je sekera univerzálním nástrojem pro širokou škálu tesařských prací. Na přání lze vyrobit také jednostranně broušenou variantu, a to pro praváka nebo leváka. Výraznou předností této sekery je její nízká hmotnost v poměru k délce ostří. Hmotnost se podle přání a způsobu práce pohybuje přibližně od 1 200 do 1 800 gramů, přičemž délka ostří bývá kolem 23 centimetrů. Díky tomu je sekera dobře ovladatelná, ale zároveň nabízí dostatek hmotnosti pro účinný zásek.
